Our vets providing excellent veterinary services to pets in Cornwall.
We make sure that all animals can get the care they need from our vets when their owners cannot afford to pay private fees in their entirety. Many of our clients are on means-tested benefits or state retirement pension, and we also help members of the community on a low income at our discretion. Our Animal Hospital is located in Treleigh, Redruth, surviving on donations and money from our loyal client base.Latest News

Pet Health Plan
Helping you budget for your pets healthcare
We all know the value and benefit of keeping our pets happy and healthy.
This is why we want to help reduce and spread the cost of routine preventative healthcare for your pet. We’re working with our Pet Health Plan administrators, Vetsure, to deliver preventative treatments and benefits for dogs, cats and rabbits, all at discounted prices that are collected in an easy monthly direct debit. Pet Insurance
We never want money to be an issue should your pet require treatment from any of our vets, but there is also no doubt that the provision of high-quality veterinary care can be costly
We hope your pet stays in good health but, ask yourself, could you afford an unexpected veterinary bill of £2000? In the absence of a Pet National Health Service, lifelong pet insurance may offer the best solution for pet owners.
It is for this reason we suggest all our clients take out a good quality pet insurance product. We are a Vetsure-accredited practice and, as such, promote the Vetsure range of pet insurance products. As a recognised practice we benefit from active communication channels with the Vetsure team. This means that we can obtain pre-authorisation prior to starting treatment and can help make the claim process as easy as possible.

With money raised from our Charity Shops, events, donations and legacies we have been able to complete phases 1, 2 & 3 of our Hospital re-development program which commenced in 2014 costing £200,000 and giving us 2 excellent new operating theatres, laboratory, recovery room, laundry and an extra consulting room.
Planning permission was finally approved in 2020 for the new Hydrotherapy Pool to provide water based therapy treatments, additional therapy rooms and a large training suite. The cost of this 4th phase of the re-development which will also add on a separate cat waiting and consulting room plus a large room at the rear of the hospital for additional storage and sanitising provisions is likely to be £400,000.
The new cat unit will be opening by end of May 2021.
You can become a member of CAH and will receive an e mail confirmation entitling you to 10% off your consultancy costs, provided your bills are settled in full at the time the service is offered. You will also be invited to attend our Annual General Meetings, and will be encouraged to participate in discussions relating to the charity.
Our membership costs just £8 per person per year.
